because this is a new home build and it comes with a warranty. They said I could wave it. Honestly, I would give them my first born child as a blood sacrifice to get this stupid thing closed so I just don't care anymore.
We did have a home warranty when we bough our house (trailer) and it was ok, but it took soo long to have anything done. 4 weeks when the ac went out, 3 when the fridge needed to be repaired. And when the new ac had the compressor blow while under warranty, it cost us 1200 out of pocket. It was such a mess. It will be so amazing to get a well build home, no holes in the floor or walls, built right, not tinfoil walls, no more leak in the roof or mushrooms growing out of the ceiling. I don't even know if we will know what to do with ourselves.
... but now that the easy part of getting the loan is done, we get to stress about building a stupid house.
