Thought Vox Lux was good. < - >

Thought the younger version part dragged, but was fairly enthralled with Portman's character. Though perhaps not quite up to the level of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, a definite contender. And she can really sing. That glam-pop stuff they opted for was over-the-top stupid, though. (Thought the younger version's debut song was pretty effective.) Seemed like they modeled it considerably after Gaga (and maybe a bit Madonna), though Gaga's (both have) got some better material. Those dancers (stupid, even when done well) were seeming to make a mockery. One of the most memorable things from Portman in a while (might've missed some stuff). Law ok. Yeah, she seemed to be channeling Woolf.
