Thank you for your support. I am not proposing any changes in how items are listed. I am proposing that CL change their Price sort mechanism to NOT exclude Free Stuff in the search results. I suspect it is just a bug or programmer oversight in the algorithm.
As you suggested, there are many ways to get around it, But when listing in any other For Sale category, the minimum price is $1. You can still put FREE in your title.
