Hello, my name is Chris I used to live in Yuba City in the 1980's. I'm looking for people who may have participated in student cultural exchange programs in the area in the 1980's, specifically 79 to 85.
Canadian elementary students were brought to the Yuba-Sutter area and were partnered with a local Californian student. The students stayed the night at the local student's home, usually just one day.
The students today would likely be in their 50's.
I'm looking for information on if you remember such an event and how it worked out for you and the Canadian partner.
