The only thing I've incorporated into my kitchen tasks and eating this year are to have prepared bread dough and cookie dough on hand, stored in the fridge. When I mix up a batch of bread, I double the recipe and store the unused portion in the fridge so that I can prepare bread/muffins/pizza crust as needed, the day of. I do the same with choc chip cooky dough and notice that I actually consume less cookies when I have to bake them first.
Tying all this convenience together is my toaster oven, for baking. If I had to utilize the main oven in my kitchen during hot summer days, that would be uncomfortable.
