She's not senile, she's only 71 but in January of this year we helped her arrange and organize her house and it is a complete pigsty yet again, not even a year later and she has yet even more stuff now! We came over one day to find 2 clunker cars that need new engines and they're sitting up on cinder blocks with no tires in her driveway! Now we try to have a conversation about throwing some of her excess stuff away, she tries to laugh it off and tells us that we'll all inherit it someday, but we don't want any of her junk, so I'm at a loss.
We don't know what to do next except wait for her to die and then just throw everything out but me and my brother aren't in the best of health to take on that kind of stress. No matter what we say Mom just keeps buying junk that she doesn't need almost every day, but I'm not going to let her laugh it off the next time she says it.
