When I saw that Oreo had a new flavor out called "Fried Dough" I figured I had to give it a try. I wet my bloomers just a little bit in anticipation of what I would soon be experiencing...
What Oreo has done here is make a really delicious cookie that is absolutely amazing with a glass of cold milk...
The Fried Dough Oreo has two shortbread cookies surrounding three "slices" of their icing. The icing is done right, at least, in that its two slices of chocolate cream sandwiching one slice of vanilla cream. This is done to make the cream filling in the cookie look like an Oreo with the delicious shortbread standing in for the fried batter.
So this is a "triple stuffed" cookie inasmuch as I quickly stuffed three in my mouth followed by a gulp of delicious milk...
If you like shortbread as I do, then this might be for you. It certainly is for me...
