A small adoption fee may cover things such as vaccinations, neutering, and microchipping. Please specify fee amount in your posting.
Pets may also be rehomed without fee in the "pets" category under "community," but please take reasonable precautions to ensure pets go to good homes, and be alert to the possibility of animal abuse and/or neglect. You can read more about these issues here.
