I have it on a couple of machines too, and? There is simply no other MS OS that is as powerful as XP (W2K was more powerful, but suffers from more driver issues than the XP). In any case, running XP is not a problem in an of itself. Ever since W2K, the MS was gradually regressing the OS, with the W11 now being the unhappy result. It is basically shit no better than the OS on a phone. This is the goal, I believe, because somewhere around 2000 the MS have realized that they have given an industrial strength OS to the people. So, they have worked diligently since then to regress it back to colorful interface and nothing under. Don't believe me? Try seriously batch processing say, 100 000 files in any windows after XP and see how that goes. SSD, fast ram, regardless, you will simply not be able to finish your batch. 2WK was the most powerful engine and the XP was basically the same engine wise but with a heavier, more dumb (but more beautiful) interface on top of it. What exactly doesn't it (the XP) do to say that it is some sort of problem? Doen't run the Instagram? The way the MS is hoping to remove the XP and the W2K from people's hands is by the 3-prong approach: -instilling a belief that the windows update has more than a zero significance -making sure that the new hardware is different enough that is can not run the old OS (drivers, etc) -making sure that the new browsers will not run on the old OS.
